Moben kitchen
7 Answers
Have just agreed to Moben fitting our new kitchen, pricey but they said they could supply what we want and fit it when we want.
Speaking to a friend tonight, he said that while driving through Barnet recently he noticed the local Moben / Sharpe showroom had closed down saying "Bankrupt"
Anyone any further info on this?
Have paid a deposit on a credit card so hopefully this is safe but I would like to put a full stop on everything if this company is going under.
Too many keep on trading and taking money even if they know they are unable to fulfill their obligations,
Appreciate any replies.

Moben (and also Dolphin Bathrooms and Sharpe bedroom furniture) was owned by the Homeform Group. Homeform is a privately owned company. I believe they sold it recently and attached link suggests it has gone into receivership.

Thank you all very much for your replies.
It does appear that Moben were managed by MKD Holdings who went into administration on 5th April 07.
They were then bought by a large American company who now continue trading as Moben and hope to turn the company around.
The local Citizens Advice Bureau gave the phone number of the Insolvency Office who in turn gave me a contact in the official receivers office. who told me although they went into administration in April, they are to their knowledge honoring all new contracts.
I can now breath again, although all deposits and payments were through a credit card which I believe is an additional safeguard.
