This plant is 150cm in height.Leaves are thin and 80mm in length placed alternately up the stem.About 70cm from the base stems grow from leaf axils to form florescents some seven or eight in number.The tiny flowers are deep blue in colour and from a distance look similar to a large salvia.

This sounds very much like the border perenial Salvia nemorosa var 'East Friesland'
