Gas Fire problem

We have a Housewarmer Mainflame gas fire and back boiler. The fire lights ok but the ignition for the heating clicks about 16 times then stops.. then clicks 16 times etc. but the boiler does not ignite hence no hot water. Does this fire have a pilot light that could have gone out ?
Any help much appreciated.

could be a number of things from ventilation to the gas valve. very vauge but without looking its hard to say

NO you do not have a pilot light that could have gone out. It is an electronic ignition. You need and engineer i am afraid.
