Electricity Meter (Great for Going Green!)
2 Answers
I read somewhere about an electricity counter for home use which displays visually how much electricity you are using. For instance, if you put the kettle on, the thing speeds up and when, for example, you turn a light off, it will slow down - always in proportion to the elecricity being used or turned off at the time. This would be very handy to know which items in your house use the most electricity and great for kids to see that when they don't turn the TV off, the cost is still adding up. Does anyone know what this gadget is called? Think it begins with O but can't be sure.
