bed surround for a divan

hi i am about to buy a new bed but need it to have a divan base cos it is gonna be pocket sprung in the divan base as well.. however I want to get a wooden surround for it to cover it..

however, i only seem to find wooden bedsteads and act as the base. does anyone know if there is a place that sells the surrounds for a divan .. thanks

Think carefully before spending money on this - I had to get rid of mine because it made making the bed very difficult, especially as my mattress is a very good quality, heavy pocket sprung.

what sorry do you mean spending money on the divan or the surround....??

The surround. It makes it very difficult to get the bottom sheet tucked under the mattress. I nearly broke my fingers trying.
