Tiles in vestibule are in fine condition but are deadly dull, lack lustre. Any ideas about how to revitalise them? Can they be painted (tile by tile in the original colours) - if so what paint?

Painting will ruin them, devalue them, and scuff easily. Use Johnson's Klear or get hold of some other hard-wearing (industrial?) liquid sealant-polish. You might be able to get additional advice from a supplier of quarry tiles.
