I need to get my combi boiler serviced & wonder what suggestions any one has to find someone trustworthy? There are loads of Corgi registered plumbers/heating engineers in my area but what sort of price should I be looking at (protherm combi boiler with 2 rads running off it) I know recommendations are a good thing but no-one I know actually uses local people as the servicing is within the contract they have for repairs etc. What sort of price should I be looking at for a service?
treat it like any appliance or service .ring 2 or 3, 4 is better and get quotes.
ask for recommendations
but try the one you like the sound of and start to build up a relationship
check their corgi number on www.corgi-group.com
Thanks Terence
I got a few quotes & although I didn't go for the cheapest - I went for the one that was friendly/explaining things etc. He's popping in tomorrow to service the boiler (& is even going to fix my kitchen tap for me)
