Sealing new marble tiles?

I have had a new bathroom put in with marble tiles. Do they need to be sealed with any special product? Thanks for your help.

no ... you will only change the colour and texture of them anyway. The grout used should have been a water proof one and this will stop any water getting behind the tile. Remember why you bought them...( they look bloody good) tiles are design to withstand the amount of water on them without becoming porous ... enjoy your new bathroom and don't worry
