Televisions operate due to charged particles absolutely tearing through space and time from the back of the CR tube to the screen. Magnetics accelerate them and when they hit the screen they annihilate their 'antiparticle' in a huge burst of energy on an atomic level which we see as mere 'fluorescence'. Similar processes occur in plants, where photons [

come tearing thru space and time from the sun to the leaves of plants, and cells of algae and the like. They annihilate the quarks and mesons inside the mitochondria and release a huge microscopic supernova of energy that is stored as adenosine triphosphate, the 'batteries' of cells. Now plants as everyone knows, are green. So, clearly, what has happened is that your television is photosynthesizing instead of fluorescing. Probably a neutrino bombarment at the quantum level. Best get a botanist to check it out before it takes root in your living room.
