electrics for a dishwasher (all to do with 13a fuses)
4 Answers
Hi, I have a dishwasher that needs a 13 amp plug. I am wondering if I can use the following safely:
1. a 13 amp multi plug that allows you to have 2 things plugged into one socket.
2. A single extention cable that has a 13 amp rating.
The socket is currently used by the gas hob and just needs electricity to do the spark. However I am concerned that I should not use an extention cable plugged into a square multi plug thing despite them all being 13 amp fuses. Is this a perfectly safe way to plug my dishwasher in or should i avoid an extention cable at all costs?
Very much appreciate any replies. Thx.
