I need to look for a room or house for myself soon in london (outer london fine too) but dont know where to begin. I am looking to pay about 300-400 pounds a month so I guess that wont take me very far, would probably have to share with others. Are there any decent areas left for this price?

I am a London landlord. I find that accommodationforstudents.com and spareroom.co.uk have a large number of active adverts and that's where I find my lodgers.

Your budget up to �400 per month will get you a decent room for your sole use with shared bathroom and kitchen and all bills included. Probable locations at that budget is zones 1-3, you can get cheaper accommodation in the outer zones.
