Hi

How can I clean marks of my faux suede dining room chairs (mostly dark finger tip marks etc - no stains as such)

Are there any products on the market - i havve looked in supermarkets/woolworths/wilkinsons etc) or does anyone know of any old household remedy

many thanks

Have you tried using a new pencil eraser? Rub it very lightly over the marks
you would be better scotch guarding the fabric once you have managed to clean it, then it won;t get as bad again

Thanks for quick replies !!

Ethel - I nearly used a pink rubber eraser !! (the chairs are beige !!)- will try this tomorrow

Yes Dot think i will ...

Many thanks again
This fabric is washable, so if any covers are removable, take them off and put onto a 40 degree wash. A light rubbing with some gentle detergent on a sponge might get it off, but if you get biro marks on it - spray with hair spray, wait a few seconds and then remove with a damp sponge.
