hydrenga not blooming

My wife has a hydrenga thats about two years old and it won't bloom??? What are we doing wrong?

If you have hard pruned the plant, not just the dead heads, you are likely to produce new green growth that will not flower until next spring

Thanks for the information, I'll try moving the plant, because I have not even pruned one leaf all season. This site is awesome! gb

If it's not too late I wouldn't worry about moving it just yet,unless it's getting the early morning sun, which will scorch any flower buds on frosty mornings. Hydrangeas actually prefer some shade - mine does really well in an almost no sun area.
