Panasonic VCR Remote
1 Answers
I have a Panasonic Superdrive Video Recorder ... don't laugh ... I am very attached to it and Yes I have a DVD recorder as well. The button on the remote control that I use when I am recording on the VCR is getting flatter and flatter into the remote control! So every time I try to record something I have to push the end of a pen into the red button, I think one day it will vanish completely. Can I buy a new remote control somewhere that I can use on my VCR?

Option 2: Look through the Panasonic remotes offered on eBay to try to find one which looks like yours. (Problem: Just because a remote looks the same as yours, doesn't necessarily mean that it uses the same code to communicate with the device it was intended for).
Option 3 (best): Buy a new Panasonic remote control, specifically designed for your model number (which will probably be on a plate at the back of the machine) from a firm like eSpares:

PS: I couldn't live without a VCR. Most charity shops now sell VHS videos for 49p or 99p. I'm able to get loads of my favourite TV series (and a few movies) far cheaper than I can on DVD ;-)
