Painting Lamanate Furniture?

What paint can you use to paint lamanate furnature. Do you have to do somethingto the surface first?

You must clean the surface well to kill any greasy spots. Give the whole thing a good sanding with medium grade sandpaper to form a good key. Use a good quality spray gloss (acrilic or oil based). Use thin coats and build up the coats to void runs and pooling. Good luck with the project.

If you mean melamine furniture, you can get melamine primer in most diy stores. This, and your finish paint, can be hand applied which, for furniture with drawers for instance, will be easier that spraying.
