preferably with experience of older properties?

We have differing advice - generally either sand and cement in corrrect ratio with salt inhibit or limelite to start but what to finish with? We can find limelite but no small supply stockist for its own finish. Multi or board have been suggested for over limelite.

Damp areas to be treated prior to replastering. Other areas around the house, where loose removed, have been sand and cemented by us. Even reputable damp companies do not concur.

Keen to get it right. Any help please??
