Anyone know how to get black mould spots out of a beech wood kitchen work top? We stupidly didn't keep up with oiling our kitchen work top and now its got black mould around the sink area where the wood has got wet repeatedly. I've tried sanding it out but it didn't get rid of it.

Try Bleach or White Vinegar, but if it`s deep stains, forget it.
I found some household work videos and maybe you'll find your answer here:

I'm sorry to say but if you neglect your timber tops this is what happens. Beech tops are especially susceptible to mould spores, bleaching will help a bit but oiling with danish oil will stop it getting worse. Remember if water isn't forming water droplets on the worktop it needs oiling.

Thanks for the info. Where do you get Danish Oil? We have some Ikea oil for the beech top - is that the same thing?
