Does anyone know the best way to store unused clothes? I have jusy got my holiday clothes down from the loft (where they were stored in clear plastic bags with airtight zips) and they smell really bad and foisty.

They will probably be ok after a light wash and condition. gibba8.

A few years ago I bought some storage boxes from Ikea. They are fabric over hardboard with zipped lids. I store my winter or summer clothes in these and line them up along the bottom of the wardrobe. They are labelled too.

The clothes come out fresh and mainly ready to wear.

Make sure clothes are laundered before storage, and thoroughly dry and they should be fine however you store them. I would try and avoid the loft tho.
Storage boxes are better gibba8. The ones with holes or slits in to let your clothes breath. I also put in a few cedar wood mothballs in,they leave a refreshing smell.

Look at this page of the Lakeland site. These bags are excellent.
