I have had an indoor Bamboo plant for a year and a half that is growing in a bowl of water. What do I do with it now? Do I break off the shoots and put them in another bowl? It is growing wonderfully, but I do not want to neglect it or take care of it improperly.

Take the rhizome and plant it in a good compost type soil with lots of Nitrogen. Make sure your pot is wide and plant your rhizome flat on the earth with the roots heading towards the bottom. Make sure that you have excellent drainage!
