It is quite common for your house deeds to include a covenant prohibiting you from parking a caravan or boat on your drive. Your neighbour can't stop you, but could lodge a complaint with the local council or police. The only way to check if you have this covenant is to read your deeds (or a copy of them).
Nothing to do with the council, and why would the Police get involved?

Sometimes it has a great deal to do with the council. If you're a council tenant, you might well have to obtain written permission from the council to keep a caravan on your driveway. This is definitely the case with Hounslow and Sutton Councils, and doubtless many others.

But with regard to private housing and covenants, you might be interested in this.

I was dealing with the question "Can my neighbour stop me" and not can my landlord stop me.

if it is a shared driveway, you might obstruct his access, or you might block his view, which may be considered un-neighbourly. Offer him a free week in it, soften him up!
Many houses have covenants forbidding either the parking of caravans or large commercial vehicles on driveways. And I think quite rightly too. They are generally an eyesore, even when they are new. The obstruct the vision of other neighbours and block out light and sunshine. I'm not against people having caravans but I don't think driveways are appropriate places to store them, especially when they are an irritant to nearby residents. I would NEVER buy a property which was near a caravan parked in a driveway and I suspect a lot of other people wouldn't either, so in this respect the caravan owner probably is causing other nearby properties to be devalued if it makes them impossible to sell.
