Hi, I'm moving house in a month and have to say goodbye to two dearly loved trees, one apple and one pear.

Is there any way I can take a cutting and start growing new ones from that? Both trees were fully-grown and bearing fruit when I moved there 25 years ago.

These are both possibly grown grafted on to root stock, so although they may grow, you may get a tree that you cant control
Better to buy new and start afresh.
