I'm due to change my boiler and will have a lot of redundant copper piper left over.
Does this have any value or should I just chuck it in the skip?

Don't chuck it. It does have value and is in demand at the moment.
scrap copper is worth quite a lot, over 3000 a tonne, however it is unlikely you will have enough from your boiler change to make it worth selling as most scrap metal dealers will not bother buying small amounts.
where do you live ?
The pikies came and raided my skip in broad daylight, took my old radiators etc, without even asking. Bloody thieves.
Yep - copper's worth a copper or two!
You just need to find someone from Yellow Pages to take it off your hands. Worth a few pounds.
Velvetee - but you'd put the radiators out in a skip to be disposed of, does it matter if someone took them?
Took out all my redundant pipes even from under my floorboards, doesn,t matter how little or alot it,s worth money find a scrap metal merchant in your area. look in your yellow pages.
