I cant believe what ive done! my mum gave me some photos (about 30 in all) to scan and somehow someone has spilt tea on them and they are stuck together!!! She will go mad, has anyone got any tips of how to get them apart with no damage, or can it be done at a photo shop?

eek... photos are just ink on paper; if the ink runs, you're stuck. If you can't carefully lever them apart without one sticking to the back of another, all you can do is ask if she still has the negatives and get reprints; or spend the rest of your life in a nunnery by way of repentance.
Somehow someone!!!!! has spilt tea on them???? I wonder whom that could be??????? Duh!!!
Your best bet is to dip them into water quickly to try to moisten the glue effect of the milk and sugar. It will be a lot safer than trying to seperate them whilst they are dry.
As a last resort, you start telling your mum stories of all the people who lost so much in their life but still managed to think about the future and ignored the past. Start by telling how much you love her and say that memories should be in hearts for ever and everything else just comes and goes.............

Then after a long pause, tell her the truth. Wish you good luck.
carefully check whether the image runs when wet.If they are fairly old and printed before digital days they probably won't.Having shown they are unaffected, put them to soak in clean(preferably soft) water. They should eventually be able to separate.Onc,e apart put then flat on absorbent paper, image side up and let them dry slowly.
Good luck!
ianmunt is right. If the prints are old they should come apart in water quite safely. If on the other hand they are digital, then it will depend on the paper and ink which was used in their printing.

I genuingly wish you all the best.....Ron
