Removing paint from roof slates.

There's house paint on our roof since a year ago from when someone dropped a roller when painting. Would white spirits take this off still?

tell your local airport to make their chaps paint the planes on the ground. that way when they drop their brushes and rollers they won't land on your roof.
how the h3ll did someone 'drop' a roller onto a roof? surely you paint the walls below the guttering.

forgot to say, what sort of paint is it? gloss, emulsion, enamel, etc. they all need different cleaning agents. if you still have the tin it will say on it.
