defrosted freezer about a week ago.and when i switched it back on. i thought it was working ok then realised that the motor didnt seem to switch off so i turned it down and it cut off. when it clicked back on again still at a lower setting i seem to have the same problem of it not cutting off.anyone any ideas as to what the problem might be.

When this type of problem occurs immediately after you have had reason to adjust the controls, the problem is (invariably) with the thermostat. It is not registering that the temperature has fallen to a level where it should cut out. You can change these modules (usually).
