C80FF boiler problem!
2 Answers
I went to swith on my C80FF ideal boiler two weeks ago, all sounded normal apart from it wasn't ignighting. Since then i have paid a plumber to service it & he changed the switch i'm not sure what this is but the invoice says (yamatake) he left yesterday with it in working. This morning the light saying lockout neon was on, i have had to press this twice today in order to get hot water. Can anybody shed some light on what the problem may be & give me any pointers on what to do has i can't afford to pay out again............Thank you.

and unfortunately if your lock-out neon is repeatedly coming on i dont think you have any choice but to call an engineer out as theres obviously an operating fault that is causing the safety devices to kick in and theres nothing you can really do about it yourself as they're complex machines that need specialist knowledge
the problem could be anything ranging from faulty control board, thermisters, gas valve, ignition transformer, fan, pump etc etc
