does anybody know of a humane way to get rid of a rabbit that has found its way into my garden and is so far being very evasive to my capture attempts? i think it is eyeing up my vegetable patch!

a rabbit eyeing up your vegetable patch.....

hmmmm....thats a thinker.....i cant think of anything to say....
Joey, there is no humane way. Either a catapult or a jack russell - both are brief and nasty. Poison is lingering and nasty. There is no shortage of rabbits. If it is someone's beloved pet they did not belove it enough to restrain its wandering. If it is wild, kill gut freeze and eat later in a stew. Delicious.
Sell it the butchers
Oh, just leave it alone.

A fox will probably get it anyway.
be grateful it's only your garden patch it found. what would you have done then if it had found your other patch?
serous answer....is it a tame rabbit or a wild one (breed not behaviour) ask your vet if they know of a local rabbit rescue group...they will have experience at catching rabbits and rehoming. If its a wild one then you are stuffed i am afraid
Adopt it.

Put it in a hutch.

Or pick one of these before it is too loate as road roller is on its stroll.
