Hiya.

What is the average spending a month on gas and electric, brand new 2 bedroom house, 2 people out all day all week and nearly all weekend, no tumble dryer / diswasher.

I would think between �80 to �100 maybe more it depends if you have energy saving features

Hi Louise we are similar.2 bed (but very old house) we have 5 radiators and small cottage rooms.Our Gas is �36 and electric �33 per month. Spot on as we have lived here just on a year. No dishwasher,freezer or tumble dryer either.Hope that helps.Oh and we have a combi boiler.

It pays to shop around on one of those price comparison websites as you can save �100's. Make sure you also choose the right tariff. NPower are giving you a rebate of �80 to switch to them, they are also one of the cheapest.
