I think the estate agent takes a cut, the HIP provider takes the rest and the government takes the VAT.

Depends who does it really, part of the price goes to the search providers and EPC providers, some to the packagers or people who put them on the website then a cut is taken from whoever it is bought off.

There ar emany providers, special companies, the Law Society, solicitors, agents.
