Has anyone out there in the UK dyed any leather furniture. I have an old recliner in off white which is looking a bit the worse for wear and does not match my new leather furniture which is brown. Is it possible to dye this - I have dyed leather shoes in the past successfully but would not know where to get leather dye from, or in fact whether it is possible. Anyone got the answers?

I enquired about dying my leather sofas. apparently it can be done by a dipping method (your furniture would be taken away for this) but it's so expensive you may just as well buy something new!
My ex once dyed a pouffe thing with stuff from these people and it looked great but was fairly expensive if I recall.

If you look in, for example, Practical Classics (the old car magazine) or similar, you will find adverts for leather colourings. I used some 15 years back to change (worn) black leather car seats to grey with superb results.
