indents in carpets

my carpets have indents wear i have moved sofa any ideas how to remove them

Put an ice cube on them. Works a treat.

Don't take any notice of the idiots on this site lottyrob5. Unfortunately, there are rather a lot of them about. What matters is your question and not your spelling or punctuation. Dimple is right about the ice cubes. I hope it works for you.

I've also heard a steam iron does the trick too. Use with a tea towel on top of the indent and gentle steam from the iron. I've never tried it myself, but let us know what works for you lottyrob.

Just rip them up, it's quite easy to remove carpets.
