Name that berry!
0 Answers
Hi,
I wonder if anyone can name a berry that grows in my aunt's garden in Austria. The bush has small, dark green leaves and very sharp thorns. The berries look exactly like cherries with a stone inside, they are red on the outside with sweet, yellow flesh that they taste like a plums. Delicious! In Austrian dialect they are called 'kriecherlein' or 'maucherlein'. Does anyone know what they are? Thanks in advance.
