can anyone help me with this we were told we could claim any expensers we had ,we moved and the house bought needs double gates into the back garden(the gates that are on are rotted )the double glazing can be taken out from the outside and are easy to break iinto,and we have already spent a great deal on it and if anyone can advise me on what we can claim i would be grateful we are both elderly my husband is nearly 78 years

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.no we owned our house and the council bought it back off us at a rediculous price and offered to rehouse us and pay any expences we had to pay out ,they offered us 2 bungalows and three house's we looked at them all none of them was to our liking,my son found the house we are now living in it had been flooded and needed walls, floors and ceilings replastered it is now done to our liking ,we bought the house with the money we got from the council.we now have to get the windows done they are double glazed now but they were put in from the outside and three times we have been locked out my son and a neighbour took a window out and climbed in (i ve got no room left so i will have to finish with another page)if i can
to let us in,so if they can get in any one else can,not only that but it looks like they were installed many years ago and the windows we had in our other house were put in from the inside and were still under gaurantee,we had to put new fencing in the back garden ,and the front needs the walls re-paired and the wooden gates are falling to bits we have had to nail them shut ,the rest of the front needs re-flagging.we were told any expences we had they would pay for(the council),not only us but also every one else who had bought their housesand to top it all the concern that bought the land backed out the whole erea is flattened.
