i've bought coat on e bay which reeks of perfume, i've washed it smell slightly less powerfull have now hung outside in fresh air anybody got any ideas please

I think hanging it out in the fresh air is your best bet - you could help it along with some Oust spray, which is pretty good at taking away odours without leaving a smell of its own.
