hi there, i wonder if anyone can help me, i am looking for a chainless ,sink plug, 1 1/2 inches in diameter, it is black and has a little handle on it, i have looked everywhere and can only find the ones that are attached to a chain

thanks very much ethel. have had a look on those sites but they don't seem to have what i'm looking for, the plugs look ok, but where there is a link for to attach a chain, i need one that actually has a litle handle, to enable you to pull the plug out of the sink, anyway, i will e-mail some of these sites, thanks again

Try a plumbers merchant like Plumb Centre....

I had the same problem. Sorted it by using a stainless steel key ring and fed it through the chain hole. Works a treat and looks fine. Might not suit you but why not give it a try?

thank you all for your ideas, especially trixie, i have already got a plant tie threaded through it, but the key ring thing sounds better.
