I got a plumber in yesterday to fix the boiler. He found out that because the water supply was turned off Headingley area of Leeds this had affected the boiler. As first thing in the morning we had tried to run the hot water tap and due to the type of boiler (Ideal Reponse 120) some kind of water pressure gauge did not work properly and water gor stuck in the part preventing it from working. If only we had been informed of the water to be turned off we would have saved ourselves a pumbing bill at 9:30 on a saturday evening. Doh
