I want to refit my kitchen but want to do it to my own design. I need to buy cabinets to which I will fit the doors and worktops. Trouble is, I don't want the cheap B&Q melamine cabinets but some built with solid wood. Any ideas where such things might be found?

Not sure if this is what you had in mind - from "The Really Useful Column" in the "Homes & Property" section of the Evening Standard (London, England) of 22 Sept 2004:- You're Furnished, based near Stansted, tel. 01279 815 028, import solid wood oak and birch kitchens with solid wood carcasses, granite or wood worktops, island units and quality integral appliances from Neff and CRG (part of Bosch), selling at 70 per cent less than you would pay on the High Street. An average-sized 12ft sq. kitchen costing about 14,000 could be yours for 4,000, all in. If you do follow this up, (and only if), could you let me know if it was any good please?
The best way for a good solid kitchen door is from IKEA the urksdal range is tops and it is solid oak. Plus really cheap!!!!!! Good Luck
