I tie a long ribbon to the top of the wreath and pass the ends through to the inside of the door using the top bracket on the attached side of the door and slightly unscewing one of the screws at the top of the closing side to support the ribbon while I take both ends, adjust the height of the wreath then tie in a bow on the inside of the door - then rescrew the screw, trapping the ribbon. - hey presto! have done mine like this for past 6 years - no bother at all.
i have a sucker hook that goes on to the glass if you have any on your door but would probably stick to the actual door aswell. think i got it from lakeland limited for a couple of quid. its fantastic and didnt come unstuck regardless of horrendous winds and we are an end house so it hits us first!.

This is the one from Lakeland - only costs a couple of quid.. just make sure the wreath isn't too heavy as mine fell off and broke :( but it was a fancy metal and glass one...
