Hi, I am currently refitting my bathroom and want to fit flexi hoses with built in isolation valves to bath, basin and wc. I have checked up on the prices of these products and have found a large difference in prices.
This is obviously down to quality of product. Has anyone had any experience of using the cheaper ones? are they up to the job or should I pay the extra and buy quality .
thanks

Price differences are not necessarily down to quality. A couple of years ago I wanted to install a garden hose outlet, which required the fitting of a non-return check valve. Wickes had one for 6.50. B & Q had exactly same valve (same model by the same manufacturer) for 11.69! Shop around.
I would hazard a guess at 4 from a plumbing merchant, which would be adequate in quality. Look at the quality of the casting.
