Hi I have two pairs of shoes (male shoe) both brand new but every time i wear them they rub my heel to give a blister, does anyone know an effective way of softening the leather to make them wearable please.

Try something called Dubbin - looks like shoe polish and u apply in the same way - it softens and protects the shoe. Should be available in shoe shop and maybe in a pet/animal establishment as I think it's used for horses' saddles etc.
If you rub cupped end of a teaspoon inside the heal for a while it will usually soften the leather, and then use the dubbin on the inside of the heal, that'll make it smooth too, it should help!
wee on them it works a treat or if you dont fancy that saddle soap is a good remedy
