Do you bodge it with filler and gloss or is there a better way? (note it will be submerged when taking a bath)

Never used this product before, but it's worth a gamble.

I repaired a couple of chips in an enamel bath about 5 years ago using Humbrol enamel paint (Used for airfix kits etc). Clean chip area thorougly, finishing with a lick of white spirit, & apply thin coats until level with original enamel. I think you wait 20-30 mins between coats. Mines still ok. If you`re dissatisfied with the result you can remove the paint with a small screwdriver blade (or put a ring of plasticene or similar around it & some Domestos will remove it in about 24hrs. Small tin of Humbrol about 1.50.
Try using repair kit from NNREPAIR. They have different kits for different size of cracks. see http:// www.nnr epair-o nline.c om
