how do I clean a pine bedhead and foot, I don't think it has been waxed for a very long time ,is it alright to use soap and water? thanks

You can buy a pine cleaner, look on the cleaning shelves at your local supermarket.

If you can't find a pine cleaner you could try a bucket of hottish water with a tiny drop of fairy liquid and a couple of cups of white vinegar. It worked on my church pew.
