Owing to a temporary salt imbalance in the dishwasher (the electric one, my wife's fine) there are rust spots on all my stainless steel cutlery. Can anyone tell me if these will just go away after succesive washes or do I need to do something more specific to get rid of them?
It;s weird but I often get those brown spots on cutlery but only on cheap cutlery. I have a good Viners set and they never have brown spots on. Dunno why though. I just wipe the marks off.
Thanks thug, I can understand that on my Ikea stuff, but it shouldn't happen on my kitchen knives; they weren't cheap - unless I paid more for them than I should have!
