do we have to change our mortgage if we are letting our home home for only 18mths temp ? we are with halifax

you have to notify the halifax and see what theyd like you to do.
some companies will want a change of mortgage / interest rate, some want a small fee paid and some dont worry at all but need to be notified

You have to have permission from the mortage lender, Halifax, before you can let out a property on which you are paying the mortgage.
