there are furniture projects in most areas or there's a website called freecycle where yu can advertise your stuff and if anyone wants it they come and get it from you

Join Freecycle in your local area and someone will want it.

or you can ring your local council who will come and get it for you but they generally charge for this

Contact the Salvation Army, though not every branch can take it for lack of storage room. Also, there are some restrictions, like settees must have a ''fire certified'' label.
