Does anyone out there know how to remove engine oil from front driveway. It is on crazy paving - I have applied various products, but nothing seems to work. We have powerwashed it aswell. Yesterday I have layered on some soda crystals with a soda crystal spray, but the stains are still there.

Unfortunately this oil comes from my teenage son's old car.

Pour a can of coke on it and leave overnight.

Thanks - I will give that a go.

I'm assuming the surface is porous, therefore the oil has soaked in and it is unlikely that anything you apply will totally shift the oil (and more accurately the dissolved carbon deposits in the oil) absorbed by the paving.

However, you can give this a try - I know it works on concrete paving slabs because I've used it myself.
