plastering

i have buried two central heating pipes in the wall .whats the best way to plaster over them? the wall is brick and i intend to use bonding and skim with multifinish
any advice, ta in advance

Hi Terence .......... that's fine .. your only problem is going to be cracking when the pipework gets hot. A fairly deep conduit (duct) would be better - but not practical for a brick wall ( unless it's thick enough to take a deep channel).
Surface mounting and boxing around them would be better than burying them.

I would also prefer to see them surface mounted - then you know exactly where they are. Don't you have to put a steel plate in front of them these days though ? If it's not too late, maybe that would be a good solution Terence... then you know that if someone tries to drill a hole into the wall, they won't burst the central heating pipes...
