How do you remove water marks from glass?

Does anyone know how you do this? I've got a glass that contained water for some time, and as it evaporated it left a nasty mark around the glass and I can't get it off.

It's just limescale - if you soak the deposit with something acidic like vinegar or lemon juice, it should dissolve.
