has anyone discovered a rotary clothes line that does not buckle in the wind? My husband says I should not use it in winds but this is a bit impractable. I put on just one basketful at a time.
Have had the same experience. Now if it going to be very windy I start from the middle and work outwards, not leaving any empty lines inbetween. The clothes are very close together which i don't like but in a high wind they dry.
Idon't put things like sheets on the outside either in a high wind in case the whole thing takes of into the sky.
P.s---sorry to go on like a rotary line expert, but when I put the last one in place ,I put the pole from an old sweeping broom up the middle and then dropped the metal pole in the socket.
Good luck.
One of the best is Brabantia, they do a few different models but as always you only get what you pay for. Their top of the range model is an excellent dryer.
On the other hand John Lewis have one that is nearly as good and quite a bit cheaper.
I have a heavy duty four armed one, it's about 4 years old now, I often put 2 or three baskets of laundry on it when it's windy (we live on the coast, so it really does blow a gale sometimes!) and it's always been fine, this the one I have,
