Chinese Lucky plant

I bought my wife a chinese bamboo lucky plant about 12 months ago.Over the past 4 months 4 of the bamboo stalks have turned from a healthy green colour to a pale yellow colour at the rate of 1 stalk a month.Their are 7 stalks left,Is their anything i can do to save them from dying?.

Why Are the Leaves Turning Yellow?

Two of the most common factors are 1.) too much direct sunlight; and 2.) too salty or heavily-flouridated tap water. Give your new Lucky Bamboo a thriving start be sure to keep it away from direct sunlight, and water only with filtered or natural spring water.

When my 'lucky' bamboo showed signs of dying I took it out of the water container and planted it into a pot, and it is doing really well. New growth is appearing now.
